EVERYDAY MAKE UP ROUTINE (2014)

One of my all time favourite posts to read and to even just look at the photo of, is a persons every day make up! It intrigues me so much that each individual has a different variation of make up products that they use to create their look.

So, this is mine and I'll tell you the steps I go through to create my finished look.

Firstly, (after moisturing with Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+) I apply my base/primer using the Laura Mercier foundation primer, after taking a couple of moments to let that dry I apply my foundation using Mac's Studio Fix in the shade NW10, which is actually the palest shade in the collection but still not completely pale enough for me (but i do have a thing about people looking a little 'orange.') Once applying my foundation, I then go onto concealing my under eyes and covering up any blemishes with my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Chantilly. Next is filling in my eyebrows, which I now realise I haven't included in the photo above but I use a MAC eyeshadow in the shade Espresso A14. Once my base and brows are done, I apply the contouring shade from my Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light into the hollows of my cheeks, I then take The Body Shop's Honey Bronzer in 01 Light Matte and apply this to the parts of my face that would naturally catch the sun and apply my NARS Blusher in the shade Deep Throat to the apples of my cheeks.

Now on to eyes, I apply Urban Decay's Primer Potion onto the base of my eyes so that my shadow lasts all day, dependant on how long I have to get ready decides what I apply on my eyes! If i'm in a rush I apply Maybelline 24 hour tattoo in the shade Permanent Taupe all over my eye and just blend it in. However, if not, I'll use my Too Faced Natural Eyes palette and create a lovely smokey eye look, (my favourite). I cannot go a single day without winged eyeliner as my eyes just look bare without it, for eyeliner I use Eyeko's Skinny Liquid Eyeliner and I complete my look with the Wonder'full Mascara with Argan Oil from Rimmel London. And not to forget powdering my face in the more oiler parts with MAC's Blot Pressed Powder in the shade Light.
