Di Blasi Cosmetics Review

Several days ago I received a beautiful parcel from Tatiana at Di Blasi Cosmetics with some of their lovely products for me to review, the pressed flowers and fresh scent when I opened it up was an extra added touch that really made the parcel that little more special than your ordinary.

Now onto the products, I received the Butter Multitasking Makeup Remover, Prickly Pear and Manna Cream, Handmade Olive Oil Soap and a beautiful terracotta leaf shaped dish to hold the products in.

The soap has a beautiful spa like scent to it and leaves your skin feeling exceptionally soft and silky. I used this the week after arriving home from my holiday abroad, and although I didn't get a glowing tan, I did pick up the sun a little, and it really helped give my skin that added shine.

The Multitasking Makeup Remover is very effective at removing all kinds of make up, especially for getting off all the eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara I wear! The butter formula of the remover means it leaves your skin feeling lovely and moisturised and does not dry out your face like some removers do. Finally, the Prickly Pear and Manna Cream has the perfect balance for a moisturiser, it's not too thick but  moisturises sufficiently and smells super fruity and lovely.

I'd also like to add that I have sensitive skin and none of these products irritated mine, which gets a huge thumbs up from me!

Have you tried any products from the Di Blasi Cosmetic range? If so, I'd love to know.

*These products were kindly sent to me for review purposes, this does not in anyway alter my opinion. All opinions are 100% true and would not be otherwise stated.

TOP 3 FAVOURITE EYELINERS

I used to be one of those people who just couldn't leave the house without winged eyeliner on. After a good 4/5 years of wearing it everyday, I've tried and tested my fair share of eyeliners. So for you eyeliner lovers, or maybe you're just starting out, I thought I'd recommend my 3 favourite eyeliners, at a variation of prices.
If you're a newbie eyeliner user/wearer, then I'd definitely recommend the 'Magic Liner' in the shade engraved by Topshop, it's got a very thin felt tip and is brilliant for creating a thin line, (so perfect if you make any mistakes!) this is £6.50 and you can buy it here.
For a medium/thick and vivid black line, I'd definitely recommend the 'Master Precise' Liquid Eyeliner by Maybelline in the shade... you guessed it, black. This is my favourite out of all the eyeliners and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone, whether you're new to using eyeliner or not, it's a brilliant felt tip liquid liner, this is £5.99 and you can get it here.
Finally, the most expensive of the three, is the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, I must admit, if you're not quite a dab hand at eyeliner, then this probably isn't the one for you, the felt tip is (quite) thick and is definitely not the easiest to use. I definitely prefer to use this eyeliner if I'm going anywhere special, with it being a high end product, priced at £12, it feels a little bit more special to wear. Does anyone else feel the same when they're wearing high end products? You can purchase the Eyeko liner here from Asos!

So there we have my 3 favourite eyeliners! I hope this helped anyone who's thinking of purchasing an eyeliner any time soon.

SHOEAHOLICS: KURT GEIGER/CARVELA

If you've never heard of the site 'Shoeaholics' it's definitely one to keep an eye on. After hearing about this site on a student website I've been absolutely hooked on checking it out ever since. The site is run by Kurt Geiger and it is where they sell all their old season stock at amazing prices. The prices start at as little as £9! You can get some real bargains if you catch things early. I've purchased many things off this site, from handbags, to heels, to sandals and flats! The prices are just incredible. I got both of these pairs at just £19 each, not to mention the extra 20% student discount they offer! It is definitely a site to look out for, for bargains and somewhere to look before you pay full price for something. The best thing about the site is that not only do they sell Kurt Geiger, Carvela and Miss KG, they have an array of brands from UGG, to Michael Kors, Burberry, Hugo Boss and much much more. The only downside is that postage and packaging starts at £5, but for the bargains you get it's really worth it!

Have you purchased from this site before? What bargains did you get? I just love it!

FAVOURITE CONCEALERS: DRUGSTORE vs HIGH END

Now if you own the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer then I'm almost certain that you'll feel my pain when it comes to the packaging of this concealer, the writing ALWAYS rubs off. I've bought this concealer copious amounts of times and each one does the same! So unfortunately, it's not all that aesthetically pleasing on the eye, but i guess that's what you get with drug store brands. The Nars Radiant Creamy concealer on the other hand is fine.

REVIEW: FRANK BODY SCRUB

There was a LOT of questions surrounding this when it was first released as bloggers/YouTubers/Instagramers around the world seemed to be receiving samples of this left, right and centre. The biggest questions: Does it actually work? Is it worth the money? Is this just another gimmick? So I'm going to do my best to answer them.

REVIEW: ST TROPEZ IN SHOWER TAN

If you keep up with the current beauty/skincare trends, then you're probably aware about this in shower tan by St Tropez, which promises a gradual tan after 3 minutes of application in the shower.

Now I must admit, I was very dubious about this when I first heard about it and I was definitely apprehensive of buying it. However, I 'bit the bullet' and bought it, luckily it was on offer in Boots at the time for £9.50 rather than the RRP of £14.50, you can still get this offer, here.
