FAVOURITE CONCEALERS: DRUGSTORE vs HIGH END
Now if you own the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer then I'm almost certain that you'll feel my pain when it comes to the packaging of this concealer, the writing ALWAYS rubs off. I've bought this concealer copious amounts of times and each one does the same! So unfortunately, it's not all that aesthetically pleasing on the eye, but i guess that's what you get with drug store brands. The Nars Radiant Creamy concealer on the other hand is fine.
These 2 concealers are my absolute favourite, the Collection concealer retailing at £4.19, whilst the Nars concealer £22. I get the lightest shades in both, (1) Light from Collection and the shade 'Chantilly' from Nars.
I definitely prefer the Nars concealer out of the two, which is probably not all that surprising considering it is a high end product. The colour is a little lighter than the Collection concealer which is something I really love as I struggle to find a concealer light enough for my skin tone. The consistency of the Nars concealer is exactly what the name suggests, 'creamy' which is brilliant and I love using this for my under eye to cover any darkness.
Onto the Collection concealer, although I use the shade 'light' it isn't really a 100% match for my skin tone and is slightly darker, however, I tend to use this to cover any blemishes or redness on my cheeks. As there are a lot of freckles on my face I can kind of get away with the concealer not being light enough. I find the consistency of this great, although it can be a little drying and I wouldn't suggest using a lot of it under eye as it can crease quite a bit. I usually keep a spare of the Collection concealer in my handbag for any touch ups.
Both of these concealers are brilliant in their own way but if I had pick between the two I'd definitely go for my Nars concealer!
Have you tried either of these concealers? What do you think about them?
