So I recently finished reading 'The Husband's Secret' by Liane Moriarty and I absolutely loved it. It's one of the very few books I've read in one sitting and trust me, I read a lot! It reminded me a lot of 'The Girl on the Train' (another book I just couldn't put down.) Filled with suspense, reality and thrill, It was one of those books you just want to finish but never end. Following the lives of 3 women, each chapter has a new story to tell with an underlying plot ready to be exposed. I laughed, cried and gasped. The book was incredible and I highly recommend it! The constant reference to the Berlin Wall was an extra hit with me as I'm a History student and love my German History. I'm definitely going to be buying more Liane Moriarty books in the near future.
Now on to the book I'm currently reading, 'The Storyteller' by Jodi Picoult, I was recommended this by a friend who has also read The Husband's Secret. I was told that if I enjoyed that, then I was sure to love Jodi Picoult's novels, especially this one. As far as I'm aware, it's 3 interlinked stories centred around events at Auschwitz during the Holocaust, as I mentioned earlier, I love my History so this was a definite decider for me! I'm looking forward to getting into this book and sitting back with a cup of tea.
